    Dear Amanda,

    I am searching all the PC blogs for information about Mauritania and ran across yours. My name is Ava Lambrecht. I’m live on a small hobby farm in Delano, Minnesota and will be working as an Agriculture/Forestry Agent in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania. I am excited and nervous to start my Peace Corps training and service. I noticed that you are also starting your service on the 18th of June, 2008, and will be working in Mauritania. I am sure we will meet at the staging in Atlanta, Georgia. I just wanted to introduce myself. Feel free to email me if you want to chat. I might email you to talk about packing!

    Hey Amanda!!

    So I lost contact with you when I moved to Hawaii, and I’m glad you have this page so we can catch up. We can talk about the turtle races and retarded things of the past. And now I can be the one sending YOU stuff, as opposed to you sending me letters from italy when i was in iraq.

    Keep doing what you’re doing, and hopefully we can cross paths again soon! (cept i’m not going to africa…. ;)

    Amanda!!

    I miss you soooo much! I’m visiting CA and its just isn’t the same without you here. I’ve been going to the beach almost everyday and all the while thinking of how much you would love the warm water. Once I get back to NYC I will start saving up to come visit you! =)
